Bernard® LS Spaghetti Sauce Mix
Directions for Low Sodium Spaghetti Sauce Mix
(for 1 gallon and 1½ cups)
- Pour one gallon of water in large pot
- Add contents of this pouch & ½ cup vegetable oil
- Using wire whisk, blend powder until smooth
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to prevent scorching
(for smaller servings)
Use ½ cup of mix, 2 cups of water and 1 Tbsp of vegetable oil. Then follow the above instructions.
For a delicious low sodium meat sauce, add 1 pound of ground beef or ground Italian sausage, mushrooms and 16 ounces of crushed tomatoes (optional)
Ingredients: modified corn starch, tomato powder, sugar, maltodextrin, modified tapioca starch, dehydrated onion & garlic, hydrolyzed soy protein, soybean oil, spices, citric acid, sodium citrate, extractives of paprika, artificial color (FD&C Red 40 Lake).
